Publishing
Background
Nicholas Croce
began his publishing career an editor at the literary journals
Conceptions Southwest and Blue Mesa Review. He
went on to work in the editorial department at John Wiley & Sons
and later at Rosen Publishing where he quickly rose to
Managing Editor. Soon after, he founded Croce Publishing for which
he served as President & Publisher. The press was named
by Writers Digest as one of the top 50 publishers for first-time
authors because of its commitment to strong relationships with
writers. Nicholas carries this philosophy to this day as the
the founding literary agent of the firm by serving as his authors' advocate.
Throughout it all
Nicholas has worked with countless authors
whose books have appeared through such media outlets as the Bob
Grant Show, Men's Health magazine, Inc. magazine, ABC and CNN,
among many others.
Education
Nicholas holds a
BA in creative writing and journalism from the University of New Mexico and a
certification in book publishing from New York University. He is
the author of three young adult educational books and his
writing has appeared in Conceptions Southwest, the Bergen News,
and, in a letter to the editor defending innovation in book
publishing, the New York Times. He was recently
interviewed by the publishing Web site mediabistro.com for
their series "Pitching an Agent," which offers advice to authors
on finding representation.
